Health Hint: Go For An Oil Change
OK, we should be past the notion
currently that coconut oil is unhealthy... ever since it was suggested as being
undesirable for us, health specialists have debunked that idea over and over
again, by proving and promoting the health benefits of coconut
oil.
Coconut oil could be a complete swap for just about any oil, and in
addition the use of margarine (ya know.. the product that is, what is it, a
single molecule apart from being plastic!) as well as butter.
Coconut oil
can also be appropriately employed on the skin. It could be warmed without ever
destroying its properties, or even eaten raw.
Don't be scared of the
consistency of coconut oil... it could possibly be dense like lard in colder
conditions, and a lot runnier in warmer areas and also when heated on the
stove.
Coconut oil has been noted by many as "the most healthy oil on the
planet". Apart from coconut oil, the only additional oil I use is olive oil..
most often in just salad dressings. It has been reported that heating olive oil
can destroy the nutritious benefits (similar to nearly all foods right?), but it
has also been suggested that it alters the properties to the degree of being
harmful to DNA! So keep olive oil raw and at cool or room temperature and you
should be fine.
Mono Eating: The One Sided Diet Choice
Just like
the label implies, mono-eating necessitates ingesting just a single food at one
time... then waiting for that food to be fully digested before eating
another.
The distinct advantage to mono-eating is that it eases the
digestion and absorption experience, potentially allowing for greater nutrients
to be assimilated, then if multiple foods were eaten.
Another, somewhat
fascinating benefit that is suggested to be a benefit of mono-eating, is that it
offers the body an opportunity to "catalog" the nutrient value of the food,
making sure that in the future, when the body is need of a nutrient, it could
quite possibly generate hunger cravings for a food in which that nutrient is
dominant! Really awesome!
This reminds me of the story (if I recall
correctly.. from the publication: Green Smoothie Revolution) concerning Sergei
Boutenko who experienced notable urges for sesame seed milk right after breaking
a bone. The calcium from the sesame seeds helped to heal the broken bone in a
very short time. His sister experienced a related healing story in which if I
recall involved olives... fascinating stuff!
